Porsgrunn situated in the middle of Grenland, is a student city with around 2,300 students.
The campus is located at Kjølnes, and is surrounded by excellent sports facilities including football pitches, an athletics stadium, a tennis hall, a swimming pool, a handball hall and horseback riding facilities.
Porsgrunn campus is constantly evolving. A new student residence will be built in Porsgrunn in 2016. The student residence will produce more energy than it uses, making it a positive energy building. Students are also involved in building the residence. The building is expected to be completed around the turn of 2016/2017.
The campus environment is large and diverse, yet intimate enough that you can enjoy a close relationship with both your fellow students and the staff. Porsgrunn really appreciates its students and the city has created a special student report about what it is like to be a student in Porsgrunn.
The campus is a 15 minute walk from the city centre and 10 minutes from student residences and the train station.
