USN is Norway's second largest university college, measured in total number of students, and larger than more of today's universities.
USN is headed by Rector Petter Aasen.
The rector reports to the HSN Board, led by Professor Rune Nilsen.
The aim of HSN is to become a university.
We have about 18,000 students and 1,500 employees.
USN offer a broad programme portfolio:
- 88 bachelor programs
- 44 master's programs
- 8 doctoral programs
USN was established on January 1, 2016, when the College of Buskerud and Vestfold University College merged with Høgskolen i Telemark.
USN has four faculties (from 01.01.2017):
