Why study International Tourism and Sustainable Development?

Tourism changes fast, so sustainable tourism management must be entrepreneurial, innovative and responsible to benefit economic, environmental, cultural and social development of destinations.

What you will learn

You will learn how tourism destinations, businesses and products can be planned, developed and managed in an innovative and sustainable manner. The program combines perspectives from the field of international tourism studies, entrepreneurship and sustainable planning and management. It will also introduce you to the culture and nature of Norway.

Why study at USN?

USN is one of Norway’s biggest Higher Education Institutions, yet you will not be lost in the crowd on any of our eight campuses. International tourism and sustainable development is offered at Campus Bø, in historic and beautiful Telemark, a tourism magnet affectionately named Norway in a nutshell. In Bø you are always close to nature, but also in a town characterized by and proud of its student culture.
