Activities

  • “Det er lærer du er” [The Teacher You Are] – a professional conference:  Since 2015, we have hosted an annual teacher conference. The goal of the conference to create a good academic venue for teachers and school leaders, who want to update themselves on relevant school research, strengthen teacher identity, provide professional inspiration, and debate the school of the future. The next conference is Wednesday 19 September 2019.
  • We are working to create arenas where researchers, teacher educators, and the field of teaching practice can meet and work to achieve an integrated teacher education, i.e. with a good relationship between theory and practice. We do so in our arena, the Professional Workshop, which is linked to the GLU program Det er lærer du skal bli [The Teacher You’re Going to Be] (not available in English).
  • Work on post-graduate/continuing education packages for school teachers and teacher educators
