Learning outcomes

All the different dimensions of the work on quality shall help the student achieve the expected learning outcomes.

All the different dimensions of the work on quality shall help the student achieve the expected learning outcomes. The learning outcome descriptions must provide a good portrayal of the competence the student shall obtain after graduation, and they must be designed in dialogue with former students, with social and working life, and with learning institutions at home and abroad in order to ensure both relevance and recognition outside of academia.

The level of goal achievement for the student must necessarily be subject to assessment, and a well-functioning study programme has formative methods of teaching, learning and assessment which are the best with a view to achieving the required learning outcomes, in addition to summative assessment methods to measure whether the student has achieved the established learning outcomes and can thus play a part in the social and working life targeted by the studies.
