Section Chief of the Admissions Section. Formerly the Admissions Manager and Admissions Director at Vestfold University College, Buskerud and Vestfold University College, and the University College of Southeast Norway.
Responsibilities
As the Section Chief, my overarching responsibility includes academic oversight for all admissions at USN:
- The Admissions Section manages admissions to all government-funded studies at USN, including admissions to international degree programs (English-language study programs).
- Responsible for admissions and offer strategy at USN.
- Development responsibilities, such as regulatory development and implementation of the NOA and Kira Talent systems.
- Reports to the Director of Studies and provides updates on admissions to the university board.
Projects and appointments:
- Former member of the government-appointed Admissions Committee - opptaksutvalget.no, which delivered NOU 2022:17 "Paths In – A New Model for University and College Admissions".
- Former member of the project group for National Master's Admissions - unit.no/projects/national-master-admission.
- Former Project Manager for Continuing Education Administration at USN.
- Member of the Product Council for Administration - SIKT.
- Member of the Admissions Committee at the Police University College.
- Member of the working group for USN Flexible.
