Teaching mathematics education for teacher trainees focusing on lower and upper primary school. Devoted to the notion of relational understanding in mathematics, focusing on student learning, and especially focusing on the learning when experiencing mathematical difficulties.

Competences

Educated in education, mathematics education, mathematics and physics at mainly NTNU, UC Berkeley, University of Copenhagen, Brown university, UiO and USN.

Currently lecturing and researching at USN, but has also been lecturing at NTNU and researching at SINTEF.
