Dr. Henri Giudici serves as Researcher in System Engineering and Innovation at the University of South-Eastern Norway. His position is closely connected to the industry driven R&D project - H-SEIF, Harvesting value from Big Data and Digitalization through a Human Systems-Engineering Innovation Framework, where has a central role as scientist. Dr. Giudici holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology of Trondheim (2019), M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bologna University (2014). During the Ph.D., he worked in strong collaboration with the Norwegian Public Road Administration (NPRA) to improve the environmental impact of road winter maintenance and on the use of ITS to monitor road networks. He has several years of industrial experience within technologies applied in the transport sector. Dr. Giudici is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), under the American National Academies, of Winter Maintenance Committee and Information Systems and Technology Committee. He is also member of the European Committee of Standardization (CEN) workgroup: “Surface Characteristics”. He actively serves as reviewer of: Journal of Cold Region Engineering and Journal of Infrastructure Systems from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
