Karina Rose Mahan is a Ph.D candidate at Buskerud and Vestfold University College in the program PEDRES (Pedagogiske ressurser og læreprosesser i barnehage og skole). Her area of research is English subject didactics. For her Ph.D project she will evaluate the effects of the pedagogical methodology CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) as a tool for helping Norwegian students improve their English. </> She previously taught English and Norwegian as foreign languages for four years at a private company and is a qualified French teacher. Presently she teaches English subject didactics in the teacher training programs (PPU, KFK, GLU) and various subjects in the bachelor program of English language at Campus Vestfold.
