Karol is assistant professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dep't of Health Promotion, with responsibility for a post-bachelor, cross professional program in psycho-social support for children and adolescents. She is also 1 of 3 international coordinators on the faculty and coordinator for the Nordplus network to which the Faculty of Health,Campus Vestfold, is associated. She established "English Breakfast Club", a meeting point for staff to practice and improve their usage of the English language. Karol lectures in several educational programmes, in particular concerning suicide and suicide prevention. She's an approved supervisor (Norwegian Assn. of Social Workers), and is educated as a Family Therapist and as a trainer in the suicide prevention program "Living Works".
