Rebecca Stirzaker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business, Strategy and Political Sciences at the University of South-Eastern Norway. She completed her PhD in 2017 at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Her research interests include entrepreneurship and innovation in context, entrepreneurship in peripheral contexts and social entrepreneurship. Rebecca has conducted research on these topics internationally. Current research projects include collaborative innovation within a rural context, self employment motivations within the context of poverty in the UK, and drivers of social entrepreneurship in Scotland.

Responsibilities

Rebecca is responsible for two courses at bachelor level in Kongsberg and Drammen:

  • INE1001 Entrepreneurship: Concepts and Analysis 
  • INE1002 Entrepreneurship in Practice

Rebecca is committed to informing her teaching with research and has previous experience in the development of both bachelor and masters level courses in entrepreneurship and innovation.
