Satyanarayana (Satya) Kokkula is an Associate Professor of Systems Engineering (from Aug. 2017) at Department of Science and Industry Systems, University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) in Kongsberg, Norway. He earned his doctoral degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway. Dr. Kokkula's main publications are in the area of large deformations, crashworthiness and structural impact. His research interests include product development, testing and verification, and riser system design.
