Why study International Tourism and Sustainable Development?
Tourism changes fast, so sustainable tourism management must be entrepreneurial, innovative and responsible to benefit economic, environmental, cultural and social development of destinations.
What you will learn
You will learn how tourism destinations, businesses and products can be planned, developed and managed in an innovative and sustainable manner. The program combines perspectives from the field of international tourism studies, entrepreneurship and sustainable planning and management. It will also introduce you to the culture and nature of Norway.

Admission requirements
The programme is open to international exchange students studying at one of USN's bilateral partner institutions. Exchange students at the bachelor-level must have completed at least 60 ECTS or equivalent within the relevant study field, and be officially nominated by their home university in order to apply. Admission to the programme requires a good command of the English language, both spoken and written. An English proficiency equivalent to B2 (Cambridge) level is recommended.
Target groups are Bachelor students in business, tourism, sociology, political science. Ecology or environmental management background is beneficial, but not mandatory.
