Why study Digital Transformation

Digitalization of processes and services in the public and private sectors is an important concept and will likely increase on a global basis in the coming years. Through this programme, you will learn about current technology and reflect on the utilization of technology in various contexts.  The programme will focus on management of information systems, aspects of change management and use of technology.

The aim of the study programme is to enable students to understand how society, organizations and individuals use and influence the innovation of technology, and how to apply technology to their advantage.

Along with acquiring advanced insight into the relevant fundamental theory, you will study principal academic traditions in detail and learn to apply this insight through the study of related topics in depth

Career prospects

An MSc degree in Digital Transformation will qualify you for employment in various areas of the private and public sectors. You will be able to address topics and perform tasks related to implementation of information systems and use of technology in various private and public sectors, such as; health, government, transport, business consultancy, manufacturing, process industry, and the oil and gas industry.

You will be able to hold positions such as; IT-consultant, system developer, project associate, project manager, business analyst, and IT-advisor.

Admission requirements

This programme requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 80 ECTS in information technology/information systems, OR a Bachelor's degree in business administration with at least 30 ETCS in information technology/information systems.

You must also fulfill the English requirements.
