Online teaching

This study offer is only for partners in the global health consortium on direct invite.

Each course will be organized in up to five online seminars.

The learning activities will include lectures and keynotes by USN faculty experts or invited international lecturers, discussions, group activities, student presentations, and a sequence dedicated to presenting real-world examples.

The last seminar will be dedicated to the students’ projects and how they can address issues from the course in their own course papers. This will include group work and student presentations.

The time period of each course is:

  • Humans Meet Humans: 08-01-2024/02-02-2024
  • Humans Meet Animals: 05-02-2024/08-03-2024
  • Humans Meet Technology: 13-03-2024/10-04-2024

What will you learn?

The study consists of 15 ECTS, divided into three optional courses of 5 ECTS each, based on current challenges and possibilities in Global Health (WHO).

  • Delivering health in conflict and crisis and to people with different cultures and prejudice by offering Human Meeting Competence: Placing peoples’ confidence and trust at the heart of the health services.
  • Elevating health in the interface between humans and animals, by offering Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI)/One Health/One Welfare: Placing human, animal, and environmental issues at the heart of the health services.
  • Making healthcare fairer and equally distributed: Reducing the growing gap between the haves and have-nots, especially in terms of access to healthcare, by Health Technology: Elevate equality and health through use of health technology.

Admission requirements

This programme requires a Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative grade point average equivalent to, or better than, a C in the ECTS system. You must also fulfill the English requirements.
