Why study maritime exchange courses at USN?
Norway has one of the most complete maritime business sectors in the world, the Norwegian Maritime Cluster. USN is one of the leading academic institution within this cluster. We offers a full set of bachelor-, master- and PhD programs related to maritime operations and management.
Our MSc Maritime Management program is a 2-year (120 ECTS) programme. One semester (autumn semester, 2nd year of the program) is offered as a course package (30 ECTS) for exchange students coming from similar type of master programs elsewhere.
What you will learn
You will be integrated in our regular master class and follow the courses for this class.
Students with technical background may take the course MM-EAT5400 Electro and automation instead of MM-MLA4701. Other elective courses from our portfolio may be selected instead of MM-DIG5800.
The exchange student has the responsibility to secure acceptance of the USN courses by the originating institution.
A course plan will give you a description of the academic content of the course and your learning outcome. You will find reading lists and relevant information on how each course is taught.
