GNFR conference at People's Future Lab camp and festival

The GNFR has the role of follow up researchers for the project The Peoples Future Lab. The completion of this first three year project of PFL is marked by a five day camp where the participating schools meet. The camp ends with a festival that will up to 1000 young people. The GNFR takes part in the PFL camp and festival to gather empirical material for the follow up researcher and the further analysis of the project. At the camp the GNFR will connect to teachers involved in the project who wish to connect as participant researchers. The GNFR will publish our research on PFL in a People's Future Lab Anthology that will be published as a part of the book series "Folk High School Research" on LIT-verlag.

The PFL camp and festival marks the end of a 3-year project where 20 folk high schools globally have collaborated around sustainable education. The camp and festival will be located at Houens Odde Scout center, near Kolding in Denmark.

During the camp and festival folk high school students and teachers from all over the globe will:

- Participate in workshops, talks, and debates on the pedagogical approach to sustainable transition.

- Strengthen their network with folk high schools across the globe.

- Experience art installations, performances, music, and food.

At the PFL festival that ends the week up to 1000 people, including Folk high school students, educators, researchers from the Global Network of Folk High School Research, and other stakeholders in sustainable education. The festival will be open for all interested in exploring education’s ability to play a part in the transition of our societies.
