There is a growing requirement for biofuels in Norway and the rest of the world. Associate Professor Marianne Sørflaten Eikeland and Professor Britt Margrethe Emilie Moldestad have been granted funding for conducting research on ash which is a byproduct of the gassification process.

Biomass to be converted to eco-friendly biofuel

A research group at the University College of Southeast Norway (USN) has been granted NOK 9.9 million by the Research Council in Norway in order to conduct research on converting biomass to biofuel.
