Steven Mallam

Steven Mallam is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technology, Natural Sciences and Maritime Sciences, University of South-Eastern Norway. He obtained his PhD in Human Factors from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and a Master of Science specializing in work safety and ergonomics from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada). Steven is passionate about scientific communication, with his teaching and research focusing on improving human performance in complex work systems. Steven has experience performing Human Factors and Ergonomics research in interdisciplinary projects within a variety of industries, including maritime transport, commercial fishing, offshore oil and gas, and aviation.
