Vickie Aye Thida has a master's degree in child psychology from the University of Chester in the UK. She has previously been involved in family therapy, special education teacher training, and children's social and emotional development in schools. Leveraging her prior clinical experience, she is currently completing her PhD research in the field of educational psychology at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). Her study focuses on play-based learning during the transition from kindergarten to school, exploring its impact on children's learning and resilience skills. This research aligns with Norway's recent curriculum change (LK20) and its emphasis on mental health, reflecting the integration of health and life skills within early childhood education.
