Sanna Toiviainen er førsteamanuensis ved Masterprogrammet for karriereveiledning. Hennes narrative forskning og etnografi har fokusert på unges livsoverganger, sosial ekskludering og spørsmål om 'agency' i veiledning og rådgivning. Hennes forskningsinteresser inkluderer co-agency, sosial rettferdighet i veiledning og politikk av kunnskapsproduksjon i karriereveiledning.
