The 2025 USN Partner Days at Campus Bø will have a focus on incoming exchange students. We are in the process of organizing a detailed program, however some of the areas planned to be covered are as follows:
- The nomination and application process – the successes and challenges of communicating with the applicant and home university
- The onboarding and orientation phase for new exchange students
- Support services and social activities for international students after arrival
In addition, we will cover general information about USN and also highlight some of the programmes offered for students at campus Bø.
We anticipate opening to the online registration form in early to mid-February 2025 with the initial registration deadline of April 1st. Participation will normally be limited to 2 representatives from each partner university. There is a registration fee.
The local hotel, called Bø Hotell, is within a short walk to Campus Bø and will have special rates for the Partner Days participants. More details about booking the reserved rooms will also be available closer the opening of the registration form.
The time frame for the Partner Days is from Monday, June 2nd – Wednesday, June 4th with the possibly of one extra day June 5th. Monday, June 2nd will be the arrival day with activities planned in the late afternoon and evening. The official Partner Days will conclude at the end of the workday on Wednesday, June 4th.
For those that would like to add one extra day, Thursday, June 5th, there will be a program offered at Campus Notodden and Campus Kongsberg. It will also be possible to remain at Campus Bø for Thursday, June 5th. Programs for the extra day of June 5th will be finalized later and will be possible to sign up during the registration process.
Partners that wish to visit other campuses and academic faculties on their own are welcome to do so as well, but these visits must be planned directly with faculties involved.
