Telemark Modeling and Control Center

TMCC is doing research on generic methods within sensor technology, industrial IT, model development with main emphasis on dynamic models, and model based analysis and synthesis. Analysis and synthesis includes e.g. computational tools and simulation, optimization, design of control systems, monitoring and fault detection. A core idea for TMCC is the idea of the transfer of methods and tools between various application areas.


TMCC co-operates with other RnD groups at University College of Southeast Norway(USN) wrt. applications; it is possible to be an active participant in TMCC, and simultaneously be active in other RnD groups at USN. TMCC will carry out separate application studies that do not have a natural place within other RnD groups at USN. TMCC will co-operate with external partners on applications.

Important activities for TMCC includes an TMCC forum, an annual TMCC workshop, increasing publication activities, and the establishment of RnD projects.
