What is Erasmus+?
Erasmus+ is the EU’s program for education, training, youth, and sport. Norway participates on equal terms with EU member states, which means that USN students are eligible to apply for grants when going on exchange.
Details of the Erasmus+ financial grant
- € 560 per month for exchange to low-cost countries.
- The grant is awarded for a maximum of 4 months.
- You must be physically present at the exchange location for at least 3 months.
(Exceptions apply for certain study programs, where 2 months is sufficient. You will be informed if this applies to you.)
Important to know
- We apply for Erasmus+ funding from HK-dir every year, but we do not know in advance how much we will be allocated.
- So far, we have had enough funds for all applicants, but we cannot guarantee this in the future.
- The grant is calculated based on the actual number of days you are on exchange and is awarded for up to 4 months.
