Parking and electric car charging at campus Bø
Parking is free.
If all the parking spaces are taken you can use the parking spaces at the neighbouring buildings: Gullbring Culture Centre and Bø Hotel.
Electric car charging
We have 4 charging points at campus Bø. You have to pay to use these. Due to high demand there is a timelimit of 4 hours charging.
Walk or ride a bike
Almost everyone in Bø lives within easy walking/cycling distance of the university. As an Eco-lighthouse business, we recommend that students and staff walk, ride a bike or take a bus/train to the university.

How to get to campus Bø?
Public transport
Download the Entur app to your mobile phone and buy your tickets for train, bus or boat there. This is the easiest and cheapest way to buy a ticket. The app works for overseas phone numbers, and is also available in English.
If you are travelling from Gardermoen make sure that you are well prepared by buying a ticket in advance to make sure that you have a seat. It takes around 3 hours by train from Gardermoen to Bø station.
If you are coming to USN campus Bø for the first time, don’t be afraid to ask for help while you are travelling. Most Norwegians speak English and will always help a person in need of directions.
When you arrive at Bø station you can walk to campus by going through Lundevegen. This is a 10 minute walk. You can also take a taxi from the station to campus. This will cost you around 400 NOK. Another option is taking the bus to Seljord and go off at bus stop ‘’Meieritorget’’.
From there you can walk to campus through Gullbringvegen in around 10 minutes.

Students and staff with a key card have access to the building all year round Monday to Sunday 06.30 a.m. - 11.30 p.m.
The service center is open Monday to Friday 08 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
