Antony Gitau is studying AI for hematological image analysis in collaboraton with Vestfold Hospital Trust, under the guidance of Prof. Veralia Gabriela , Prof. Karl Thomas Hjelmervik, Prof. Ola Marius Lysaker, and Martin Paulson, MD.
In his work, the goal is to research and develop computer vision based systems that support the diagnosis of leukemia, a group of blood cancers that originate in the bone marrow.
