Eivind Thomassen

Eivind Thomassen is Associate Professor in history at the Department of Business, History and Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Oslo (2020). Thomassen has published several works on various aspects of Norwegian economic policymaking in the 20th century, including incomes policy, oil governance, fiscal and monetary policy. Thomassen is President of the Norwegian Economic History Association since 2018. He is a columnist of the Norwegian newspaper Morgenbladet.
