My research primarily concerns education policy, inclusion, and leadership, with a particular emphasis on comparative studies across different countries. I am currently undertaking a doctoral thesis examining how school leaders’ autonomy is shaped by the governance of inclusion in schools in Germany and Norway.

Responsibilities

Teaching and Supervision:

  • teaching in the course Learning and Teaching in an Inclusive School (Master level)
  • teaching in the course Leadership, Collaboration and Development Work (Bachelor level)
  • supervising students on the Master in pedagogy
  • supervising students in school and kindergarten placement

 

Other activities:

  • Member of the organising committee for the annual Åsgårdstrand Seminar (2022–2024)
  • Providing support and development in kindergartens and schools through the Competence Boost for Special Needs Education and Inclusive Practice (Kompetanseløftet) and the Regional Scheme for Kindergarten-Based Competence Development (ReKomp)
