Responsibilities

- Responsible for the lead of courses, teaching and supervision, mainly in the Master's in Society and Health, i.a.

 

- Main responsible for the course "the Master's thesis" (MSH-OPP4400)

- Supervision on the master's thesis, both qualitative and quantitative method approaches

- Main responsible for courses/supervision for municipal public health actors in the evaluation of public health work

 

- Collaboration with various external actors (including Vestfold and Telemark county council, Korus Sør, NOVA/OsloMet) related to the Ungdata survey, the Ungdata pluss survey (longitudinal study among children and young people about leisure time and quality of life) and the Public Health Survey among adults in Vestfold and Telemark

- Research on immigrant women's use of nature - preferences, barriers and perceived benefits

- Research on young people's quality of life in a socio-ecological resource perspective (Based on data from the Ungdata and Ungdata pluss surveys)

- Meta-analytic research related to the importance of individual factors for work-related health

 

- Member of the PhD committee for the doctoral program Person-centered health care

 

- Leader of the research group HENÆR

Competences

I have worked with the following topics: physical activity and health, how to motivate for and facilitate increase in physical activity, public health work in local communities, outdoor life/nature and immigrants, general self-efficacy in adolescents, organized leisure time activities and subjective well-being among adolescents, process and effect evaluation.

I have experience with various quantitative and qualitative research methods.
