Erling is a sociologist with a degree in sociology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a degree in social science data analysis from Essex University. He has research experience from fields of research such as social inequalities in health, immigrant integration and class analysis, and he has previously taught courses on quantitative methods at Helsinki University and sociology at UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for teaching the course AUV2000- Work, education and welfare politics
  • To teach quantitative methods for bachelor and master level students
  • To supervise bachelor and master level students
