Finn is a sociologist with long experience as a researcher and teacher in the university- and institute sectors in Norway. He is particularly interested in innovation sociology, and the huge significance innovation and innovation processes have for individuals and society. He is, furthermore, interested in the theory of science and society, in general sociological theory, and in systems theory. With extensive experience in contract research, Finn has undertaken a broad range of industry and sector studies. He has published research work and evaluation studies with empirical focus on fisheries, aquaculture, construction and transport. Finn is a elected member of the board of Forskerforbundet, at HSN.
