Jonas Kristiansen Nøland is currently an Associate Professor with NTNU and an Associate Professor II with USN. He holds a PhD in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University - Angstrom Laboratory.
Since August 2019, he is serving as an Editor for the American scientific journal, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ENERGY CONVERSION (Q1). In October 2020, he was appointed to serve as an Associate Editor for the American scientific journal, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS (Q1). From 2020, he is also the "Vice-Chair" for the IEEE Power and Energy Society Chapter of Norway.
