Responsibilities

Teaching:

Teach a class in Cost-benefit analysis (KNA300) for 3-year bachelor students in economics and management with specialization in economic analysis, and Finance Theory and Empirical Finance (BED435) for master's students in economics and management. Has previously taught business administration, entrepreneurship and finance.

 

Research interest:

The research field is within empirical economics, where econometric analyses are used to examine the efficiency and productivity between different companies within important Norwegian export industries. Industries Kristin has worked with include aquaculture, fisheries and petroleum activities. She is the research group leader for the research group Economic Analysis at USN.

Over the years she has had a number of longer stays abroad to, among others, the University of California Davis, and the University of California San Diego.
