I have a ph.d in science education, a master's degree in human toxicology, and have worked as a science teacher in a lower secondary school. I have almost ten years of experience in science teacher education. My research interests focus on languages and literacy, particularly on representations and models in science education. I am also interested in scientific practices and nature of science. My research has also focused on teachers' identities and motivation, particularly biology teachers.
