Responsibilities
I teach at the bachelor program in sociology, and the master program in social analysis.
Competences
I am interested in the interplay between academia and society, how science is used in different spheres of society, and how trust in science and expertise is generated. I have studied this through various processes, actors and organizations, such as in Norwegian climate policy, researchers’ participation in governmental advisory commissions, the organization of knowledge use in the public administration and researchers' own practices for communicating research to various actors. I have also studied trade unions, organization in higher education, and evaluations of the societal impact of research.
I am also Associate Professor II at TIK Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture (UiO), where I work at the OSIRIS centre.
