At the USN masterprogram in Health and Society I teach and supervise in health promotion and public health with a particular focus on Health & Safety and workplace health promotion. In research I have been particularly interested in the effects of psychosocial working environment on health and health behaviour in different professions. I have also focused on work engagement and workaholism. Recent years, work inclusion of employees and self-employed people with health issues has been a particular focus. Before 2020 I was for many years head of the research group "Health Promotion in Settings" at USN.
