Competences
Area of interests:
Ocular anatomy (retina in particular), imaging technologies (fundus photography, OCT, Optomap, AF-imaging, confocal microscopy), visual fields, ocular pathology and ocular examination methods. Research: Retinal structure and function, and diabetes, vision and ocular health.

Teaching areas:
- Clinical optometric procedures (fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, evaluation of anterior and posterior segment of the eye / indirect ophthalmoscopy, gonioscopy, intraocular pressure, visual field testing, use of ocular diagnostic drug, pupillary testing, contact lens fitting and assessment of the eye's tear film)
- Ocular anatomy and pathology (dry eye, retina, pupils, age related macular degeneration, diabetes)
- Treatment of eye diseases
