Choosing the right journal for your research can be challenging, especially with the growing number of open access publishers and the risk of predatory practices.

EDUC PhD candidates are invited to join this 2,5 hours workshop: Good, Bad, and In Between: A Practical Guide to Avoiding Predatory Open Access Publishers (catalogue.educalliance.eu)

The workshop is open to all PhD candidates, and candidates in their first year will be prioritised.

The workshop takes place in English.

  • Learn how to identify warning signs of predatory journals and publishers

  • Discover practical tools and checklists to assess journal quality

  • Practice evaluating real journals using the Compass to Publish tool
