Start-up and configuration of mobile devices in groups and class sets

Mobile IOS devices in class sets and other groupings are automatically configured for Central Administration.

Configuration of devices managed by AirWatch

The first time an iPad (or other iOS device) is booted, it automatically enters the setup menu.

To restart it, select the following:

Settings - General - Reset - Delete all content and all settings
iPad resets and restarts

Select: English or Norwegian Bokmål
Country or region: Norway
Menu Quick start: Select: Configure manually

Network: USN-Guest (without username and password)
    Exception: iPads on A2-29 choose network: i-client (must have username and password)
    Approve certificate

Upgrading the iOS operating system

Upgrading of the operating system IOS is done manually. Settings - General - Update

Additional setup for Renhold Vestfold:

This must be is done on each iPad.

  • During start-up, a code must be set.
    You can change the number of characters by selecting: Security code selection
  • Configure Outlook:
    Select App: ID@usn.no and password
  • Configures DFØ:
    Log in via the ID port
    You must choose the electronic ID that suits you
  • Configure ClaenPilot
    Link to Datec to access drawings and software
    • Select: Settings - CleanPilot
    • Scroll to: Server connection details
      • Hostname no002.cleanpilotcloud.no
      • Port 443 (80 by http protocol)
      • Base URL / usn / services

Each user gets their own access created by Datec.
