The Council for Artificial Intelligence (The AI Council)

The council reports to the rector and shall contribute to ensuring that the university’s efforts in artificial intelligence are based on a solid foundation of ethical guidelines and socially responsible practice.

The AI Council consists of experts from faculties in artificial intelligence, ethics, law, social sciences and other relevant fields, as well as professional expertise from shared services on the development and management of AI tools in research and education.

Purpose and tasks

The Council shall provide advice and recommendations for prioritising efforts and responsible use of AI in research and education. The Council shall contribute to ensuring ethically responsible and socially sustainable use of AI technologies across disciplines.
