What kind of job do you qualify for?
The MSc will give you the skills and knowledge to work independently both as a researcher and problem solver, and to contribute in a team with researchers and industry in future research and development challenges.
Working with the local business community
All engineering education at campus Kongsberg has a good reputation with industry. We are ensuring a continuous connection with industry both locally and nationally to ensure relevant teaching and assignment from the industry. We are cooperating with both small and large companies, including Kongsberg Gruppen which is recognised as one of the country’s most attractive employers for engineers.
What you will learn

The focus is on development within the areas of Embedded Systems and cyber security. All students will have the options to immerse themselves within these areas, as well as knowledge within big data and artificial intelligence, and use all of this knowledge in the computer systems that you are developing.
You will learn how to use your knowledge understanding skills and ability to solve problems within new areas within Informatics and technology. You can define, model, and analyse complex problems make qualified and informed choices of models and techniques that can be used to create tomorrow’s solutions. You will also get to skills and knowledge to work independent than both researchers and problem solver.
After completing the degree you will have a understanding of an engineer’s role in society knowledge about ethical requirements and sustainable development.
Gain international experience

A study plan describes the content, structure and organization of a study programme. To each study plan there is a set of subject plans that describes the different subjects. In the subject plan you will also find a reading list. Below you will find a study model that shows you which subjects that are taught each term. In the study model you'll also find links to each subject plan.
