Why study Sustainability Management?
Persons in managerial positions, who have to deal with issues relating to economic, environmental, social and cultural sustainability are often met with challenges that are complex, important and exciting.
Sustainable solutions are in demand in an increasing number of areas, and new guidelines and methods for increased sustainability are constantly under development. There are major challenges to be solved, along with multiple opportunities.
This programme provides research-based knowledge, practical skills and competencies that will allow you to work independently and judiciously with such challenges.
We prepare future managers and researchers for the task of dealing with problems and challenges related to management, regulation and certification of sustainable practices. This requires a strong link between sustainable practice and research within a number of fields.
The study programme provides access to advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, creative thinking skills and decisive competencies for sustainability management in the private, public and non-profit sectors, both at home and abroad.
