Why study Business Administration?

Rooted in the interplay between practice and theory, students will learn how to plan strategic work and implement a business and a price strategy in practice. All courses in the program are based on scientific articles and the topics are taught in agreement with the continuously moving research front within the area.

What you will learn

The program provided to exchange students represent a selection of courses from the program Master of Science in Business Administration. The master program at USN consists of four different specializations:

  • Strategy and Knowledge Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Business Economics
  • Industrial Management

Each of these specializations’ is taught partly in English, partly in Norwegian.

Courses listed below are taught in English and are well suited for exchange students at Master's level.

Please note:

  • minimum requirement of at least 3 international students to teach the programme in English
  • maximum number of admitted international students: 10

Admission requirements

The programme is open to international exchange students studying at one of USN's bilateral partner institutions, who are officially nominated by their home university.

Exchange students at Master's level must hold a Bachelor diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, Strategy or equivalent and should have completed at least 1 semester (at Master's level) at their home institution before they enrol at USN. Normally there is a requirement of a C average for admission at Master level.

Target groups are Master students in business, management, marketing, strategy, entrepreneurship or related fields.

Admission to the programme requires a good command of the English language, both spoken and written. An English proficiency equivalent to B2 (Cambridge) level is recommended.
