The Center for Security, Crisis Management and Emergency Preparedness (SKB) is aimed at several sectors, representing various disciplines at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN).
Our mission is to help develop increased knowledge about vulnerability, prevention and handling of crises in society. By doing so we are also helping to lay the foundation for innovation and increased value creation in business.
The university's expertise in emergency preparedness management, technology and maritime security, health preparedness, pedagogy, IT security and collaboration between emergency services and preparedness actors are focus areas in the Center's professional portfolio.
