Teaching and researching in a European context has never been easier!

 

Curious about EDUC? Or are you already involved and want to do more? Join the EDUC CoP. EDUC Research Internships lasts from one week to 6 months. The EDUC Course Catalogue also includes e-learning courses aimed at academic staff. Visit another EDUC university to enhance your professional skills, build networks, and gain valuable insights into current topics. This project is the Research and Innovation part of our alliance. Create more dynamic teaching and collaboration with colleagues from across the alliance. This is a dynamic digital platform that connects EDUC universities from both an educational and research perspective.

Den europeiske universitetsalliansen European Digital UniverCity (EDUC), der USN inngår som eitt av åtte universitet, har på nytt fått støtte gjennom Europakommisjonen si satsing European Universities. Etter tidlegare tildelingar i 2019 og 2023 får EDUC no støtte for tredje gong.

Do you want to feel more confident in international contexts? This course gives you the opportunity to learn how to communicate across cultures and understand the perspectives behind everyday interactions. The course is asynchronous and open to all students and staff throughout the year.

What and who is EDUC?

European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) is a European university alliance with eight members in seven countries. European university alliances are the EU's flagship for bringing the academic community in Europe closer together and solving major societal challenges.

In the alliance, we collaborate, among other things, on a common digital campus, digital study programs, flexible international opportunities for students and staff and skills development for young researchers and staff.

In addition to USN, EDUC consists of these universities: 

  • University of Potsdam, Germany 
  • University of Rennes, France 
  • University of Paris-Nanterre, France 
  • Masaryk University, Czech Republic 
  • University of Cagliari, Italy 
  • University Jaume I, Spain 
  • University of Pécs, Hungary 

Together, the alliance has around 200,000 students and 31,000 employees.
