PhD candidates at USN are invited to participate in the EDUC Blended Research Summer School in Critical Methodologies.
The summer school is practically oriented and is based on your own project.
- Format: Blended (online + in-person)
- Extent: 5 ECTS credits (approximately 140 hours)
- Online sessions: 27 May, 28 May, 8 June 2026
- In-person gathering: 1–5 June 2026 at campus Drammen
- Exam form: essay (max 3000 words)
- Requirements:
- submission of a project abstract (max 1500 words)
- participation in group work and seminar (at least 80 percent)
- presentation of own project

Who can apply?
PhD students in the humanities, social sciences, education, law, health, economics and similar fields. PhD candidates with a master’s degree from the aforementioned fields can also apply.

- travel, accommodation and food are self-funded
