Animal-assisted interventions for different target groups (rehabilitation and health promotion), Green Care and the use of care farming for persons with psychiatric disorders, people out of work, education for children and youth, and experiences of providers (farmers) and different health professionals.

Experienced in academic research on the following topics: Animal-assisted interventions (AAI) for different target groups and care farming for persons with psychiatric disorders, people out of work, and students with part time of their education on a farm. Pedagogical experience including supervision, student evaluation, and teaching at various levels. Keynote speaker at several national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars, and acted as a referee for international journals. Extensive experiences with applications to financing sources e.g. Norwegian Research Council.

Several publications in international peer reviewed journals.
