My research has focused on the continued impact and relevance of myth-based narrative frameworks on modern texts and media, with an emphasis on graphic novels, YA literature and film. I have an extensive teaching background in English literature, culture and language.
I currently serve as the coordinator for the MGLU MA program at the Drammen and Porsgrunn campuses.
I am the managing editor of "MAI: Feminism and Visual Culture," (https://maifeminism.com/) and am an editor at the MAI Press (Punctum Books).
