Responsibilities
Research
I am a member of the Quantum Technology Research Group. My research centers on the application of precise mathematics to conceptual problems in the foundations of quantum mechanics, and also to more applicable questions related to quantum metrology and computation. More specifically, my interests can be outlined as follows:
- Symmetry in Quantum Measurements: Wigner-Araki-Yanase theorem, superselection rules, quantum frames of reference, timeless formulations.
- Quantum Contextuality: Kochen-Specker theorems, contextuality in quantum computation, topos quantum theory, sheaf-theoretic approaches, connections to incompatibility.
- Other: Quantum-classical contrast, relational quantum mechanics, quantum metrology, quantisation and classical limit, quantum logic, operator algebras.
