CV

Sambeet Mishra has a Ph.D. on Electrical Power Engineering, specializing on Power System Planning problems including diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics. In post-doctoral research, he worked on Integrated energy system with virtual power plants. Then, he worked as Scientist at SINTEF Energy Research with a focus on Electricity Market, Hydro Power Scheduling, Flexibility provision, Multi-agent system for power system planning and Integrated Energy System, among others. He is a senior member of IEEE, Power & Energy Society. In his research journey, he worked on several European, National and International projects including FME NTRANS, FlexBuild, H2020 MIGRATE. He was convenor of CIRED'23 workgrounp on Dynamic Network Tariff and chaired sessions at IEEE conferences including SmartGridComm'24 (Oslo) and ICSCGE'24 (Sydney). He is in the editorial board of IET Energy Conversion and Economics and Springer Energy Informatics journals. Beyond that, he is course responsible of master level courses on Power system Planning and developed course on Offshore Wind power. 

His research interests are in energy informatics, power system planning and electricity market. He is currently involved in several research projects
